At Heartland Dental and in our supported offices across the country, we strive to honor that support by giving back to the people and places we love. Volunteer work and community service are rewarding endeavors that go together with our ongoing investment in our people, our industry, and our communities.
Dentistry is about service, compassion, and care for the people around us. It’s why the teams at so many of our supported offices donate time and resources to local charities and organizations. Many supported offices also organize and host charitable giving programs like My Free Smile and Free Dentistry Day.
My Free Smile is an organization that helps people transform their self-image and health through dental care they otherwise would not have access too. Participating Heartland Dental supported offices are proud to be part of this life-changing program.
Launched in 2010, Free Dentistry Day has helped more than 8,000 patients in communities around the country enjoy brighter, healthier smiles. Many Heartland Dental supported offices participate in the program and more join the initiative each year.
Through charitable giving and volunteer work throughout the year, Heartland Dental strives to set a good example and make a positive impact in the communities where we live, work, and serve.
Heartland Dental is committed to building a brighter future for our industry—not just our team members. Through various programs and seminars, we provide opportunities for dental and hygiene students to advance their clinical, leadership, and business skills.
Heartland Dental’s LAUNCH events are our premier leadership events for dental students currently in their third or fourth year of dental school. Through seminars, panels, and hands-on training, LAUNCH participants will be better able to launch their professional dental careers after graduation.
Being there for each other is part of our culture. We value all our team members and strive to support them in the good times and bad. The Heartland Dental Foundation’s Economic Hardship Program helps Heartland Dental team members get back on their feet after a disaster, emergency, or illness. In the summer of 2022, the Foundation is broadened its support further by sponsoring its first Dental Mission trip to Honduras.
