Analytics Manager, Marketing

 

Heartland Marketing is undergoing a transformation and rapid expansion of analytics-focused capabilities to better support our Doctors and their Marketing and Advertising Programs. The Marketing Analytics Manager will be responsible for a variety of analytical exercises across Marketing on behalf of our network of Dental Offices. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to augment existing analytical ability with marketing, healthcare, and business experience.

 

With more than 1,600 dental offices supported across 38 states, over 20,000 team members and over 2,300 supported doctors in our support, Heartland Dental has a proven track record of growth and success. Early 2018, KKR became Heartland Dental’s new lead investor, With Ontario Teacher’s Pension Plan (OTTP) remaining a minority investor.  KKR’s resources and partnership have opened up many new opportunities to further advance the company’s growth. 

 

To give you an idea of the team structure, you will work on a team with several other Analysts and Managers and be reporting to the Marketing Director.

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:

  • Perform and oversee end-to-end analysis, reporting, and presentation of marketing-related topics such as channel performance, paid media, patient retention, and return on investment calculations
  • In-depth analysis of data to determine significance of trends and impact on business health
  • Engage with Doctors, Office Managers, Accounting, IT, Agency Partners, and other Marketing Teams to identify areas of opportunity or respond to critical program questions and hypotheses
  • Create forecasts, readouts, models, and other data-driven work products to support enterprise-wide marketing initiatives
  • Establish methodologies for reporting efficiencies by categorizing and organizing reporting requests
  • Create and monitor reports to determine data quality and completeness, identify critical issues, trends, and opportunities
  • Evaluate office-level marketing performance and identifying areas with optimization potential
  • Educate other marketing teams on data and marketing best-practices
  • Communicate marketing strategy and analysis results to teams with vastly different levels of understanding and experience
Minimum Requirements:
  • 3-6 years work experience in Analytics or Data-Focused Role
  • Intermediate SQL Proficiency
  • Ability to travel with overnight stays as the position requires but not likely more than a few times a year
 Desirable Qualifications:

This role is not 100% defined and will change as the team learns, grows, and evolves. Strong candidates will have experience in some of the following areas/qualifications but must be flexible and willing to do what is needed to support the team:

  • Degree in quantitative Field such as Statistics, Math, Engineering, Computer Science
  • Ability to explain complicated or technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Experience with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
  • Experience with SAP HANA and SAC Dashboards
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other major public clouds
  • Experience with AutoML technology and systems
  • Experience with Paid Search, Paid Social, or Direct Mail
  • Experience working with data in spreadsheets and/or relational databases
  • Interest in working with Marketing Technology including Customer Data Platforms and Campaign Automation tools
  • Curiosity and Coachability
