PTO / Holidays
All full-time supported doctors enjoy the flexibility to take time off in a way that best fits their lifestyle, and also to determine coverage plans that make sense in the office. Our supported practices observe six paid holidays annually, and full-time supported office team members are eligible to accrue at least two weeks of paid time off per year.
Excellent dental care is (of course) part of the Heartland Dental supported doctor benefits package—for you and your family. Our supported practices also offer several health plans, as well as prescription, vision, and life insurance coverage.
We want our supported doctors to thrive and remain with the Heartland Dental support network for the long haul. Compensation packages for full-time supported doctors extend beyond a competitive, guaranteed base salary, offering you the opportunity to earn significantly more than the average dentist in the U.S., without the stress.
Doing your best work for your patients is rewarding, but there’s also more to life than your career. Our supported practices strive to create an environment that encourages you to thrive inside the office and out. Teams work hard and play hard and are well taken care of in a fun work environment.

Heartland Dental welcomes new CHRO to support team members amid continued growth
EFFINGHAM, Ill., Oct. 4, 2022 -- Heartland Dental, the nation's leading dental support organization (DSO), today announced the appointment of Kirsty Leyland as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective immediately. Leyland joins the Company's senior leadership team under the direction of Pat Bauer, President and CEO.
Your patient’s appointment doesn’t start when they get into your chair—it begins the moment they walk in the door. Their relationship doesn’t end when they leave the office, either. How you communicate with them both in and out of the office helps maintain and improve patient relationships.
