Tongue tie/lip tie revision shouldn't be painful, but after treatment, you or your child may experience some discomfort. Your provider can advise you on how to manage symptoms with over-the-counter pain relievers, ice chips or popsicles, or by eating soft foods to help prevent additional soreness or irritation.
