At Heartland Dental, our vision is to build a world-class, inclusive culture within our company and the field of dentistry. Our mission is to create an inclusive environment for supported doctors, their teams, patients, and other stakeholders. This allows them to bring every facet of themselves to our supported practices and support offices.
We strive to create and sustain a work environment where all individuals feel valued and represented and have the opportunity to excel. Today, our DE&I policies include enhanced training and education for team members, employee resource groups, and dedicated DE&I leaders.
We have a workforce that's 12.4% more women than the healthcare and education industry average. This diversity is reflected in our teams as well, with 15% people of color in our support offices and an impressive 34.1% in our regional and local teams, including the supported doctors. Within our Operations Leadership, 20.2% identify as people of color, solidifying our commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment at all levels.
